NASSCOM is a premier association of IT and BPO organizations in India and actively liaisons between the industry and government of India amongst various other initiatives for the industry. NASSCOM embarked upon an initiative to identify 50 emerging companies in India through Emerge 50 programme.

Subsequently, Attra and other companies identified as emerging companies were asked to demonstrate its niche services, its differentiators, value proposition, vision, growth plans and uniqueness. Outcome is Attra has been recognized as one of the Top 10 emerging companies. Attra received the -Emerge 50 Leaders- award on August 28, 2009.

Attra was selected as one of the 50 emerging companies under -Emerge Services- category for providing niche services in cards and payments industry.

Prasad Guntupalli, Co-Founder and CEO of Attra won the Star Entrepreneur award at the 4th edition of the Indira Innovation Summit. The Indira Innovation Summit is the endeavor of Indira Group of Institutes to expose academia to the leading edge innovation practices from across the world and to create a platform for intellectual exchange of ideas that would drive future innovation in Industry. The gala event, held on the 29th of January had industry leaders from different sectors make their presence.

This year’s summit was a platform to honor exceptional achievements from sectors spanning Manufacturing to IT services. Prasad won the award in the Star Entrepreneur category. He has been instrumental in turning Attra an Australia based niche consulting company into a global IT services company today.
